Being a parent-to-be is a bit scary... but above all very exciting.
You know that your life is going to change.
And it starts with the furnishing of your interior.
You pass, indeed, from a life of two to a life of two and a half (at least, at the beginning).

That being said, although a child is small in size, he takes up a lot of space. That is why it is necessary to give him a room just for him. When to start preparing the baby's room? And how to arrange this new room? Nothing better than an article to know everything.

Layout of the baby room: identification phase

Complete Evolutionary Baby Room Lit'bellule

First of all, I would like to point out thatthere is no precise date to start scouting for your little one's room.

You You can take advantage of a weekend when you have nothing planned to go around the stores near you to get some ideas. Nothing forces you to buy now. But it's a good way to see what can be done while accurately assessing the price of a baby room.

That being said, in general, the parents arrange for the room to be ready before the birth.

So the couples start taking care of it, most of the time, in the beginning of the third trimester. The mother-to-be is still in good shape and you can get into it as you go without rushing. Once finished, it will be time to see the room as a whole and think about possible finishes and decorative elements to add to it.

The most important thing: that you are not stressed. Of course, it is better to know the sex of your child before painting the walls in blue or pink for a baby boy room or a baby girl room. Or opt for a white, unisex baby room. Finally, if you are expecting twins, you can arrange a room for 2 children.

What you need to know to properly prepare your baby’s room

Like everyone else, to thrive, a child needs a little cocoon just for him. Specialists also believe that a child's room must meet 3 essential criteria:

  1. It must have a window to allow sunlight to enter and promote rapid learning of the day/night cycle. But also to be able to air it regularly;
  2. It must be in a quiet place. Indeed, it is preferable that the child can be in a quiet environment when he needs to rest;
  3. It must have enough space to place all the essential furniture (a bed, but also, why not, a chest of drawers and a changing table).

Obviously it depends on your living space. It is not always possible to have a large space to accommodate baby (especially if it is not the first). These are tips you should follow, whenever possible.

If you wish, I have designed for you an evolving baby room designed for parents as well as toddlers of all ages.

Indeed, being myself mother of 2 children, I realized that I was struggling to find my happiness in store. So I had the idea of designing an ergonomic bedroom that would promote children's autonomy and simplify parents' lives at the same time (especially thanks to the upgradeable raised bed).

To do this, I thought of a complete bedroom which can easily go from a child's bedroom to a teenager's bedroom without having to buy new furniture.
